One More Try has an intriguing premise, consisting of today's hottest and biggest star, it surely will satisfy your hunger for something different and something more mature and something more that makes more sense, this isn't No Otherworman or The Mistress or A Secret Affair this no where close that this is about life and death and about love this is a tale about how desperate can you go for you child.

Grace ( Angel Locsin) is a single mother who is forced to reconnect with her son's biological father Edward (Dingdong Dantes) who is married to Jacqueline ( Angelica Panganiban) to save her son from a worsening rare blood condition. The child's life is at stake, Grace and Edward's respective relationships is also at danger of ruining

This genre is not new to me altough i don't want this kind of genre, it was heartbreaking this was the most moving movie i watched since Titanic, don't judge me but this is the best filipino film i've seen in the very very long time, the last time i watched great film would be in 1983's Himala.

Angel Locsin is undeniably is the lock for Best Actress(no im not biased) incorporating sincere performance and a heartfelt sincere acting this could if not one of the most profound performance of her in the history of her career another top notch film from Ruel Bayani who recently directed No Other Woman.

Meanwhile, Dindong Dantes and Angelica Pangiban is surely another lock for Best Actor and maybe Best Supporting Actress  respectively, I didn't Expect them giving that kind of acting, you will sure be blown away and be taken away in this film it will surely moved you and this is the most sentimental film in this year and coul`\d be in the last decade

All that was a prediction, One More Try is the most graceful most gracious film you could've imagined with it's thick plot, great story and one of a kind performance, this surely be a film to remember and a film that you will be saying all day, altough somewhat lack.

Rating: 3.5/5
