Another masterpiece from highly acclaimed Cannes Film Festival Best Director Winner Brilliante Mendoza, it's another film you don't want to miss altough if you're just having a good time this is film is hard to ignore because of it's beautiful performances, beauty of the setting and it's intriguing premise and an interesting concept which rarely we've seen.

Shaleha (Aunor) is a Badjao midwife in Tawi-Tawi. She struggles to cope with the irony of her own infertility amidst the deprivation of her community. A saga of island life stuck between the devil of passion and the deep blue sea of tradition

When this was released it received  critical acclaim for it's stylish direction, sincere performance and an undeniable beauty of the setting it is a true gem for Philippine Cinema, Kudos to Brilliante Mendoza for showcasing this type film in which you ignore money for true film making and he is one of the last best director in Philippines

It's a shame too that in our own country this was ignored to participate in Metro Manila Film Festival, while this film is gaining praise in other film festivals in other countries, What a great great shame, but then a film backed out so this was who replaced, Thank God is said i get to finally see this, this was the first film i watched only seeing elderly audience and didn't see any teen like me, they prefer endless chapter of a boring feel good film.

Thy Womb is an undeniably one of the greatest film in the 21st century to grace the Philippine Cinema, it was new for the audience, the performances was great, overwhelming but still a great one especially for Nora Aunor, she is still the superstar , it was unique and sleek comparing to other performance she have , it was a good wait for her comeback , worth a wait indeed

Thy Womb will surely garner awards in the upcoming film festival, Thy Womb maybe lacking in some entertainment but you sure will be wanting more after this, it was graceful one of the most greatest film i've seen in the philippine cinema it surely is a great pleasure
