Review: Red Dawn

Red Dawn is undeniably new to me altough im used to its genre, it's just another misguided and accompanied with lazy script and a bunch of barerly charmless actor, Altough at some point it hit some notes, it just felt flat, It progress an progressed but not enough to built a solid entertainment.

In Red Dawn, a city in Washington state awakens to the surreal sight of foreign paratroopers dropping from the sky - shockingly, the U.S. has been invaded and their hometown is the initial target. Quickly and without warning, the citizens find themselves prisoners and their town under enemy occupation. Determined to fight back, a group of young patriots seek refuge in the surrounding woods, training and reorganizing themselves into a guerrilla group of fighters. Taking inspiration from their high school mascot, they call themselves the Wolverines, banding together to protect one another, liberate their town from its captors, and take back their freedom.

I didnt have a change to watch the 1984 original, and will not ever but in some point i will surely give it a shot, Red dawn simply is another light and this so called action movie is not but irenic, peaceful and passive it doesnt build up tension and thrills, and it stays with its comfort zone, staying with that zone will make you passive and vague.

Accompanied by a laughably bad script and a uniformly cast, Red Dawn isn't particularly a good film, but is undeniably entertaining, but the most insult is that Josh Peck has miscast, no offense, but he is just really not reliable and versatile but then this is Just another redundant, pointless and ridiculous remake from Hollywood

It consists of probably and arguably a one hit wonder actors, Their weak execution of the characters were utterly underwhelming and barely noticable, It doesnt live up our expectations if kept us hanging and gasping for air at the end of the day this will surely and no doubt will be forgotten and forsaken.

It could be if not one of the blandest action flick i've seen in years, this remake undoubtedly is poorly written relying on it's source which is reasonable at the same time, The only worth a see on this is Chris Hemsworth he is the only who delivered and we are beyond doubt sold, The only thing i liked beside it's inguenity its that of the length, but then this is a film which is uneven, unevenly paced and an uneven acting and thorougly uneven.
